The About Page

I write and I bake things. Or is it, I bake and I write things? In either case, I’ll be doing both here.

You may have noticed that this blog doesn’t look like many other “modern” Cooking Blogs. That’s because I’ve made two basic rules:

1. No Amazon. I don’t care who’s getting a pittance from their sales. I don’t use them unless it’s completely unfeasible to get an item anywhere else. And by “completely unfeasible” I mean “item is not physically sold near me and not offered for sale on any other online platform.” If I link somewhere for a product, it’ll most likely be the manufacturer.

2. No 101. I’m here to post awesome stuff I did, not pre-answer 999 questions about the ingredients. I’m a firm believer in learning from everything you do, so if you claim to have a lot of experience altering recipes in a certain way but can’t tell if your methods will work with mine, I’m gonna give you a good dose of side-eye. So if you want the kind of blog that puts a rundown of how to cook with half the pantry at the beginning of every post, I won’t be offended if you go find one. There’s plenty. I’ll be here when you’re done.

So let’s make some cool shit.
